STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
S. Y. Kimball Development is requesting approval of Parcel Map No. 92-223 to reconfigure two
parcels for purposes of residential use pursuant to the provisions of the Subdivision Map Act and
Section 9921 of the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve Parcel Map No 92-223 with a finding that the Parcel Map is in substantial conformance
with the tentative map previously approved by the Planning Commission on December 15, 1992
and instruct the City Clerk to affix her signature to the map, and to release the map to the County
for processing.
ANALYSIS:
Tentative Parcel Map No. 92-223 was approved by the Planning Commission on December 15,
1992. Parcel Map No. 92-223 has been examined by the City Engineer and certified by him as
being in substantial conformance with the approved tentative map. Pursuant to Government Code
Section 66474.1, the Council may approve the Parcel Map with a finding that the parcel map is
in substantial conformance with the previously approved tentative map, or may deny approval with
a finding that the parcel map is not in substantial conformance.
