If hn had he mould have applied for 0-4 zoning back 150 feet from Beach Blvd. This %ould effectively done away with the Planning Commissioner's present ob jectial s . Point No. 9. The zoning on this property was changed from A -I- o C-4 Highway Commerrial by resolution of intent adopted by Planning Commission and published -.ri Huntington Beach News Jan. 25, 1962. Wen a _earing was over ana hap been approved by Planning Commission, I approached the Planning Commissioner and asked him if all I had to do now was d©cure a building permit. No mention was dude of the fact that I had to secure a variance or use permit• I later confirmed this at counter in Planning Department. As you can see by plot plans attached hereto I also orin key lot directly behind lot 11 & 12, East 40 feet of. lot 10 which is 135 feet deep. Stout desires to appeal the decision of the Planning Commission rendered Tuesdays June 18th on Use Permit No. 224 to the City Council fcr their consideration. The members of the Planning Commission denied applicant's petition to colistruct a four unit building for use as a real .estate offices and neighborhood storeer in the C-4 highway commercial district located at the southwest corner of Beach Blvd. and Glen ,-oe Street. and :legally described as Lot 11 do 12 of `.tract 522. Applicant would like a continuance on this appeal to the August 5th meeting of the City Council an tie, is going to be out of the State during this period because of illness in the family.
