The following complaint was filed on September 19, 2011.
Plaintiff: City of Huntington Beach; Redevelopment Agency of
Huntington Beach
Defendants: Michael Mahan, Robert Leggett, Josephine Leggett and
unnamed occupants
The Complaint was filed to remove the occupants and mobile home from Space #4,
located at Oceanview Estates, to recover back rent from April 10, 2011 to present, to
recover applicable late charges, and to recover attorney's fees.
Initial Complaint: City of Huntington Beach; Redevelopment Agency of Huntington
Beach v. Michael Mahan; Robert Leggett, Josephine Leggett
Orange County Superior Court Case No. 30-2011-00509010
Nature of Case: Oceanview Estates is a City -owned mobilehome park located at
7051 Ellis Avenue. Pursuant to a rental agreement, each mobilehome owner must pay
rent and reside in the mobilehome. Mr. Mahan is the registered owner of the
mobilehome located at Space #4 but does not reside in the mobilehome. There is an
extensive history of nonpayment of rent and the latest period of nonpayment began in
April 2011. The City is now pursuing an unlawful detainer action to remove the
occupants and the mobilehome from Space #4.

Nature of Case: Action for ejectment, quiet title and related claims against
Pacific Mobile Home Park, LLC to relocate those mobile home coaches and
accessory structures which are encroaching upon Huntington Street.
