HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 2019-17 RESOLUTION NO. 2019-17 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH ESTABLISHING PERMIT PARKING DISTRICT "X" WITHIN THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted Ordinance No. 4051 allowing the establishment of parking districts in residential areas under certain conditions; and The citizens of the residential streets known as Tucana Drive, Taurus Lane, and a portion of Rook Drive have petitioned for establishment of a permit parking district; and The Director of Public Works reviewed the petition, sent a ballot for further consideration to residents of the petitioned streets, and caused an investigation which reasonably established that unrestricted parking: interferes with available parking for residents and guests, and produces sources of health and safety concerns; Therefore, the Director of Public Works has found the requirements of Ordinance 4051 to be reasonably fulfilled, and determined that the Permit Parking District will not affect other uses of on-street parking. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does hereby resolve as follows: Permit Parking District"X" is hereby established to include the above mentioned roadways, every day, including holidays between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. Resolution No. 2019-17 PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 15th day of April , 2019.
