Street Sweeping. With all the mandates out there for closures,it is high time the city gives a
hnad.Stop the tickets until parents are no longer forced to stay home,They are out of their
normal routine, they should not have to go without pay,and then have to deal with this."this
city needs to help as well, not punish!!

1 am a current cosmetology student at Golden\Nest community college. It has been brought to
my attention that for the safety of the American people and to prevent the further spread of the
deadly COVID-19 virus, the majority of Goldenwest college courses have been moved to online
platforms,as have almost all colleges and universities. However, practical classes such as
cosmetology, esthetician, automotive and carpenters programs will remain on campus.
Cancelling or moving to online platforms is the best way to stop the current spread of this
deadly virus.Right now healthy people all around us are carrying and spreading the virus
without exhibiting any symptoms.Current studies by the CDC estimate the time of exposure to
the onset of symptoms is up to 14 days. This means that healthy people like myself could be
unknowingly carrying and spreading this disease to everyone around us.Because the virus can
survive for up to three days on inanimate objects, such as door knobs,an object that is touched
by an infected person becomes the source of infection to hundreds,if not thousands,of people.
The only way to stop the spread of the deadly COVID-19 virus is to limit exposure by limiting +
contact with potential infective sources which can only be accomplished via the movement to SUPPLF-MENTAL
online and in home studies of college courses for ALL students.Failure to do so could result in COMMUNICATION

deadly consequences.Your decision to move all courses, including cosmetology,to online
courses, will save countless innocent lives including the life of my(my 85 year old grandmother Date.
or immunocompromised mother or very young child)whom would most certainly succumb to
this disease if exposed.Thank you for your time.

Covid-19 and the 4th of July Parade
I am hoping the the city officials take measures to protects its residents and consider
cancelling the large 4th of July parade. The parade will bring many to HB but it is not worth
the community spread. As a HB native and resident for 52 years,I am doing my part by
limiting my family's social interaction as requested by our Congressman Harley Rueda.I am
expecting the City officials of Huntington Beach to do their part to protect us and begin the
process of cancelling the huge 4th of July gathering here in our community.

Please consider declaring a moratorium on utility shut-offs as well as evictions for the duration
of this pandemic. Our most vulnerable communities will he better able to practice social
distancing if we temporarily relieve the stress of having to pay their most basic of bills. The
City of Long Beach has already done so,so this should be something we can make happen as
well.Thank you.
