ASCON LANDFILL SITE UPDATE
► CURRENT STATUS
• Clean-up efforts-Stopped since June
ASCON is pursuing tenting/enclosure permits and work plan approval
• Site Maintenance will continue including: Weed Abatement, vector control
inspections, Stormwater management measures, dust control measures,
and application of soil sealant.
• Continued Air monitoring and sampling of on-site and off-site stations with
results posted on DTSC's Enviorstor and on AsconHB.org.
• Continue 24 hour onsite security.

CURRENT SITE ACTIVITES
► Week of June 15th
• Site Maintenance will continue including: Weed Abatement,
vector control inspections, Stormwater management
measures, dust control measures, and application of soil
sealant.
• Ascon continues to work with SCAQMD on permitting a pilot
project on the feasibility of tenting areas of the Site during
excavation work.

stations with results posted on DTSC's Enviorstor and on
AsconHB.org.
• Continue 24 hour onsite security.
