UNITED STATES • CANADA • ASIA PACIFIC • EUROPE — Scope of Work Convergint Technologies' scope of work includes furnishing, installing, programming and commissioning the material listed in the attached bill of materials (BOM) as outlined below and with regards to the data listed in the clarifications and exclusions section of this proposal. Proposal complies with prevailing wage labor requirements and Sourcewell Contract 031517-CTL. The scope of work will include the replacement of the existing Bosch Fire/Security Alarm panel with the City of Huntington Beach's standard Honeywell Intrusion System. Currently, the system is set up as a combo fire/burglar alarm with a polling loop design consisting of serial modules in the field. Due to the age of the system, the city is experiencing several false alarms requiring them to "bypass" faults in order to arm the system. Convergint proposes to split off the security alarm devices, while remaining the Bosch fire alarm system as is. Convergint will install a Honeywell Vista series alarm system and terminate the polling loop to the panel. In addition, Convergint will be retrofitting all the field serial devices tied to security alarm devices and replace all the current motion detectors with new dual tec motion detectors. Finally, Convergint will install a cell communicator for the security alarm panel and monitor all devices through Convergint's central station. Below is a detailed scope of work! Head End: Convergint will install (1) Honeywell Vista 128 intrusion panel in the basement next to the current fire alarm panel. • Convergint will terminate the security alarm polling loop from the Bosch panel to the Honeywell panel. Convergint assumes the existing wire is operational. If any cable is found to be with deficiencies, Convergint will address it with the city of a change order basis. Page 2 of 9 • Convergint will reutilize the existing Altronix power supply for powering the field devices. Convergint assumes the power supply is operational. If the power supply is found to be with deficiencies, Convergint will address this with the city on a change order basis. • Convergint will terminate the existing security alarm siren from the Bosch panel to the Honeywell panel. • Convergint will install (1) cell communicator above the panel for communication with Convergint Central Station. Field Devices: • Convergint will retrofit (69) Bosch serial devices in the field with Honeywell serial devices. • Convergint will retrofit (25) Bosch motion detectors in the field with Honeywell dual tec motion sensors • Convergint will retrofit (36) Bosch door contacts in the field with new GRI door contacts. • Convergint will retrofit (8) Bosch duress buttons in the field with new duress alarm buttons. • Convergint will retrofit (4) existing Bosch keypads with Honeywell 6160 keypads. Convergint assumes the existing wiring in place for the keypads are operational. Any cable found to be with deficiencies will be addressed with the city on a change order basis. Please note keypads 4-7 indicated on the drawings will be combined into one Honeywell keypad for arm and disarm of partitions. • Convergint will install (1) Honeywell 6160 keypad above the fire alarm annunicator in the lobby. • Convergint will program all (69) zones into the Honeywell system. • Convergint will test all security alarm devices with Convergint's central station to ensure all zones are reporting properly. • Convergint will train the library staff on how to arm, disarm, partition, and bypass zones on the system. Training to not exceed one (1) hour session.
