HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 2022-54 RESOLUTION NO. 2022-54 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING PERMIT PARKING DISTRICT"L" WITHIN THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted Ordinance No. 4051, allowing the amendment of permit parking districts in residential areas under certain conditions; and The citizens owning certain properties fronting the residential street know as Freeborn Drive between Edwards Street and Erwin Lane have petitioned to be included in Permit Parking District"L"; and The Director of Public Works reviewed the petition, sent a ballot for further consideration to residents of the petitioned streets, and caused an investigation which reasonably established that unrestricted parking; interferes with available parking for residents and guests; Therefore,the Director of Public Works has found the requirements of Ordinance 4051 to be reasonably fulfilled, and determined that the Permit Parking District will not affect other uses of on-street parking. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does hereby resolve as follows: 1. The above recitals are true and correct. 2. Permit Parking District"L" is hereby amended to include properties fronting the above-mentioned roadway, effective every day from 12:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the lo' day of %.
