STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
Southern California Edison Company requires an easement over City property to serve the
Pier.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve the granting of the easement and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute.
ANALYSIS:
The new Municipal Pier electrical services will be located at the second platform
seaward. The Southern California Edison Company will install electrical facilities from
Pacific Coast Highway to this location. Edison requires an easement from the City to
construct and maintain these facilities on and across City property.
FUNDING SOURCE:
No expenditures for this item.

location of the proposed facilities.

and return to me in the envelope provided. The copy of the easement is for your files.
As a matter of information, the installation of electric facilities cannot be scheduled until
the enclosed signed and notarized easement has been returned to this office.
