In accordance with your request for electric service to your
new building, enclosed is a Grant of Easement, in duplicate, covering
the underground facilities as shown on the attached sketch.
If this easement meets with your approval, please present
it to the City for formal execution and return the original along with
a copy of the resolution using the enclosed envelope.

GRANT OF EASEMENT (INDIVIDUAL) City of Huntington Beach
THE GRANTOR CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH, a municipal corporation
(herein called "Grantor"), hereby grants to SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY,
a corporation, its successors and assigns (herein called "Grantee"), an easement and right of way to con-
struct, use, maintain, alter, add to, repair, replace, reconstruct, inspect and/or remove at any time and from
time to time, an electric system consisting of underground conduits, preformed cable in ducts, vaults, man-
holes, pull boxes, and including above-ground transformers, pedestals, markers and concrete pads and other
appurtenant fixtures or equipment, together with the wires, cables, switches and appurtenances as are now
and which may become necessary or useful for conveying electric energy to be used for light, heat, power,
telephone, telegraph and/or other purposes,in, on, under and across that certain real property, in the County
of Orange State of California, described as follows:
A strip of land 6 feet in width lying within a portion of Lot 70 of Tract No. o v0
DISTRICT 6003, as shown on a map recorded in Book 220, pages 49 and 50 of Miscellaneous n 0

The Grantee, its employees, contractors and agents, shall have free access to said electric system and
all portions thereof at all reasonable times and at any time when necessary for the purpose of exercising the
rights herein granted and shall have the right to trim or cut the roots of such trees, shrubs or plants as, in _
the opinion of Grantee, may endanger or interfere with said electric system, provided, however, that in mak
ing any excavations on any part of said property the Grantee, its employees, contractors and agents, shall
make such excavations in a manner as will cause no unreasonable damage to the surface of the earth around
said excavation and shall replace the earth so removed and restore the surface of the ground as near as
practicable to the condition it was prior to such excavation.
