We have also requested an easement from the County of Orange in order to bring our facilities from Gothard Street as proposed. This easement is being reviewed by the County at this time and we should receive a reply within a few weeks. If the attached easement meets with your approval, please present it to the proper authorities for routing and execution. SPACE ABOVE THIS LINE FOR RECORDER'S GRANT OF EASEMENT THE GRANTOR, CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH, a municipal corporation, hereby grants to SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY, a corporation, its successors and assigns, an easement and right of way to construct, lay, install, use, maintain, alter, add to, repair, replace, inspect and/or remove, at any time and from time to time, aerial and underground electric lines and communication lines, consisting of poles, guys and anchors, crossarms, wires, cables, conduits, manholes, vaults, pull boxes, markers and other fixtures and appliances, for conveying electric energy to be used for light, heat, power, telephone and/or other related uses, in, on, over, under and through that certain real property in the City of Huntington Beach, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows: DISTRICT A strip of land 10 feet in width lying within the west 300 feet of the east 445 feet of the southeast quarter of the northwest quarter of the northwest H.B. quarter of Section 35, Township 5 South, Range 11 West, in the Rancho Las WORK ORD[R 6033 Bolsas, as shown on a map recorded in Book 51, page 11 of Miscellaneous Maps, 2040 in the office of the Recorder of said County, the southerly. line of said {D[NTITY strip being described as follows: 8-0936 MAPSI=[ Beginning at a point in the southerly line of said southeast quarter of 42/89 the northwest quarter of the northwest quarter, said point located on the A.PROYCO southeast corner of said west 300 feet of the east 445 feet; thence, atwDEP AAN westerly along said southerly line, a distance of 150 feet to a point DfTwRTA[NT /� hereinafter referred to as Point "A"; thence, continuing westerly along CVs ,t ✓ said southerly line a distance of 30 feet. 8/13/68 Also, a strip of land 6 feet in width lying within said southeast quarter of the northwest quarter of the northwest quarter, the centerline of said strip being described as follows: Beginning at said Point "A"; thence, northerly at right angles from said southerly line of the southeast quarter, a distance of 75 feet. The Grantee, its successors and assigns, and its and their respective contractors, agents and employees, shall have the right to trim or top such trees and to cut such roots as may endanger or interfere with said electric lines and/or communication lines and shall have free access to said electric lines and communication lines and every part thereof, at all times, for the purpose of exercising the rights herein granted, provided, however, that in making any excavation on said property of the Grantor, the Grantee herein shall make the same in such a manner as will cause the least injury to the surface of the ground around such excavation, and shall replace the earth so removed by it and restore the surface of the ground to as near the same condition as it was prior to such excavation as is possible.
