Subject: Easement Deeds - Fire Facility
Gothard Avenue
Gentlemen:
Transmitted, herewith, are two easement deeds regarding the Fire
Facility on Gothard Avenue.
First is an easement deed for street right of way in front of the
site to be executed by the City. It is recommended this easement be
executed and recorded in the office of the County Recorder. Recording
of the easement is necessary prior to the recording of the second
easement.
Second is an easement deed to the Southern California Edison
Company for underground electrical on the fire site proper. It is
recommended the City execute this easement and return to the Edison
Company as requested after recording the first or street easement.

Gentlemen:
Your application for electric service has been referred to
this department for right of way clearance. We are enclosing a Grant
of Easement covering the portion of your property over which our electric
line will extend.
In order to execute this easement properly, will you please
have authorized officers for the city sign it in the presence of a
Notary Public, affix the corporate seal, and return the easement to
this office in the enclosed, self-addressed envelope.
Your prompt action will enable our Construction Department to
plan for the early installation of electric service.
If you have any questions regarding this easement , please
telephone the undersigned at the above number.

maintain, nor to permit the erection, placement or maintenance of any building, planter boxes, earth fill oro
other structures except walls and fences on the above described real property. The Grantees, and their con-
tractors, agents and employees, shall have the right to trim or cut tree roots as may endanger or interfere
with said systems and shall have free access to said systems and every part thereof, at all times, for
the purpose of exercising the rights herein granted; provided, however, that in making any excavation on
said property of the Grantor(s), the Grantee cshall make the same in such manner as will cause the least
injury to the surface of the ground around such excavation, and shall replace the earth so removed by it
and restore the surface of the ground to as near the same condition as it was prior too such excavation as is
practicable.

A strip of land, 6 feet in width, lying within the southerly 320 feet of the
northwest quarter of the southeast quarter of the northwest quarter of Section
35, Township 5 South, Range 11 West, S.B.M. , the centerline of said strip of
land being described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the southerly line of said southerly 320 feet of the
northwest quarter of the southeast quarter of the northwest quarter of
Section 35, said point being 3 feet westerly, measured along said southerly
line from the westerly line of Gothard Street, as now established; thence,
northerly, parallel with said westerly line of Gothard Street, a distance of
157 feet; thence, westerly, parallel with said southerly line, a distance of
112 feet to a point hereinafter referred to as Point "A"; thence, continuing
westerly, parallel with said southerly line, a distance of 1 foot; thence,
northerly, parallel with said westerly line of Gothard Street, a distance of
