Re: Electrical Easement & Consent
Our File 7-0681
Gentlemen:
Reference is made to your conversation with Mr. C. V. Soper, of this
office, on July 20, 1967, concerning the providing of electrical service
to the City's new sewer lift station, south of Hamilton Street and east of
Newland Street, in the City of Huntington Beach.
In order to provide this service, it will be necessary that the Edison
Company occupy a portion of the 20 foot easement granted to the City, over
subject property, by Security Fore Corporation.
It is necessary that we obtain the City's consent to our occupying this
easement prior to our installation of service and the securing of an
easement from Security Fore Corporation.
Enclosed you will find said Consent attached to the original of the
easement that we will have executed by Security Fore Corporation. Also,
enclosed for your convenience is a copy of a sketch showing our proposal.
When the Consent has been duly executed by the City, will you kindly
return same with the attached easement for our further processing. A
return envelope is enclosed for your convenience.
Should you have any further questions concerning this matter, please do
not hesitate to contact this office.
Very truly yours,
Paul R. Fischer

Subject: Newland Storm Drain Pump Station
Gentlemen:
Transmitted herewith is a consent the Southern California Edison
Company wishes to obtain from the city of Huntington Beach for an
easement for the installation of power lines necessary for power in
the subject pump station. The city of Huntington Beach has obtained
a prior easement from Security Fore Corporation. This consent would
allow Edison Company to obtain an easement within our easement from
Security Fore Corporation, the owner of the underlying fee.
This easement and the pump station are located 600 feet easterly
of Newland running south off of Hamilton Avenue adjacent to Edison
High Transmission Lines.
It is recommended that the attached consent be authorized and
returned to Southern California Edison Company.
Very truly yours,
James R. Wheeler
