THE GRANTOR, THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON. BEACH, a municipal corporation, hereby grants
to SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON. COMPANY, a_corporatioa, its successors and assigns,
an easement and right of way to conetrutt, lay, install, use, maintain, alter,
add to, repair, replace, inspect and/or remove,, at any time and fries time to time,
aerial and underground electric lines and communication lines, conoistiag of poles,

markers and other fixtures and appliances, for conveying electric energy to be used

herein granted, provided, however, that in making any excavation on said, property
of the Grantor, the Grantee herein shallamake the same in such a manner as will
cause the least injury to the surface of the ground around such excavation, and
shall replace the earth so removed by it and restore the surface of the votes(' to
as near the same condition as it-was. prior to puebexcavatien as is possible.

authorized the granting of an easement to Southern
California Edison Company and execution of same by the
Mayor and City Clerk.

Huntington Beach, for City records.
