Off-Highway E-Motorcycles Are NOT Street Legal
°' Between September and November 2025, Huntington Beach Police officers responded to three
separate enforcement incidents involving the same Talaria Sting MX-4 e-motorcycle, operated by two
minor brothers on public roadways.
In every incident, the vehicle was confirmed to be an off-highway e-motorcycle, NOT a legal e-bike
under California Vehicle Code §312.5.These vehicles are not designed, equipped, or permitted for
street use,yet they were repeatedly operated on city streets, posing a serious danger to riders and
everyone around them,
First case in OC prosecuting a parent for child endangerment
